Registration and Fees

How do I join PYO?

The PYO season runs from September to April with weekly rehearsals scheduled for Sundays from 2:00PM - 4:00PM or/and Tuesdays from 5:30PM - 7:30PM. Auditions and Registration take place in the summer before the new season begins. The process:

Register – Below is information about fees and the registration process. Registration Deadline: August 30, 2025.
Auditions – The student will be contacted to schedule an audition after the registration has been completed.
After auditions – You will be contacted with information about the orchestra you will be playing in and on the process for payment.

Registration Steps

Read the required agreements: Code of Conduct and PYO Consent, Waiver and Release of Liability
Fill out the Registration Form below.
Pay $50* registration fee.

Fees for September 2025 to April 2026 Season

Option 1: Sunday or Tuesday Rehearsal (students select one rehearsal to attend for the entire year)

Tuition is $700.00 per musician
Due by September 15th, 2025, and can be paid online, by check, or using the PEP scholarship Direct Provider payment. Payment instructions will be emailed after the application is received for those not paying online.
There is an option to pay in two payments: $400 is due Sept 15 and $400 is due Dec 1.
There is a $50* registration fee paid online at the time of registration.
Tuition and registration is non-refundable.

Option 2: both Sunday and Tuesday Rehearsals (students will attend both rehearsals weekly)

Tuition is $1,000.00 per musician
Due by September 15th, 2025, and can be paid online, by check, or using the PEP scholarship Direct Provider payment. Payment instructions will be emailed after the application is received for those not paying online.
There is an option to pay in two payments: $550 is due Sept 15 and $550 is due Dec 1.
There is a $50* registration fee paid online at the time of registration.
Tuition and registration is non-refundable.

If there are financial barriers restricting your students from joining the PYO, please contact our administration regarding financial aid applications.

*Registration fee is waived for multiple family members and returning PYO members.
